I caught Covid. I wear masks whenever I go out. I was careful to sanitize, wash, shower, every single day. And I still caught it. I wonder what she would say if I told her. We haven’t spoken in a year. Our friendship is probably dead and she doesn’t care about me anymore. I tried my best to reach out to her. I just can’t put in the effort alone anymore. I hope she stays safe, and not catch it. Because I know her family depends on her, and she has an elderly dad to look after. I want her to be happy, surrounded by people she loves.
