20 years ago I was at a Texas country concert in San Angelo with friends. A man approached and asked me to dance. I said no because I didn’t know how to dance and was too self conscious to let him teach me. I think about that handsome man (who had the guts to ask a stranger to dance) every once in a while… and I wonder if I missed my chance at happily ever after because I was too scared.
