My birthday is coming up, and I’ve been depressed about some personal stuff. Instead of saying “I’m so sorry you’ve been feeling down, baby. Let’s make this a really fun birthday for you”, my husband asked in the most flat way ” So, what do you wanna do for your birthday?”. As if he didn’t even care what the reply was. I told him I’d be spending it on my own. Think I’ll be less disappointed that way. Happy fricking birthday to me….
