The modern world is such a joke. People have to work s***** jobs that robots could do to make money because we as a species have decided that theres no free rides and our worth is Tied to a line of code in a bank computer and some f****** paper. So many people work thankless jobs, whether it be fast food, retail, or medical care, and none of these jobs are compensated well for how much stress or student loan debt the cause. Then old people wonder why no one wants to work. It’s because back in your day, a teenager could put themselves through college working part time at McDonald’s or a racetrack during the summers, then their entire generation took the hope that yhe greatest generation passed them, pulled up the ladder behind them, looted all the post world War 2 prosperity, record profits, and increased productivity that came with technological advancement, and told all their children and grand children to get fucked. And they wonder why we’re all socialist anarchists and hippies.
