All I want is for at least one of my dads to love me. My real dad left without a word and now he’s in prison. My stepdad doesn’t care about me. He never asks about me and every time he sees me all he does is be mean to me. I just want one of them to love me. My stepdad said he can’t love me the same as he does his own kids and it felt like he ripped out my heart and stomped on it. I thought he was different than my real dad but they’re all the same.
