I have lots of anger and resentment towards people because I was forced to put others’ feelings and needs above my own. Others made it quite clear to me that their needs and feelings are important, not mine. That’s why I won’t value anyone who disregards my needs and feelings. This includes my father and family as well.
Right now, taking care of myself is my top priority in life because I’m done making others a priority in my life. I’m done caring about others, when they don’t care me or my needs/feelings. I’m done putting myself on the bottom of the list of priorities. I need to be a priority or else my mental health will get worse.
