My boyfriend’s parents often fight with me to gain more time to spend with him, even though they already have more than half of his free time. My parents couldn’t care less. Part of me wishes they would fight to spend time with me too 🙁
I later asked my boyfriend the typical “it’s either me or your mum” question, and he picked me, but still decided to follow his parents’ wishes and spent time with them instead of me.
I just want to be the first choice for once.
