It’s strange how much five words can change things. My wife and I are in an open marriage. Recently, she got pregnant with another man. Neither of us were meant to be having unprotected s** with our other partners. When she confessed that this had happened I was pretty shocked and hurt, but I think I took the news well enough.
“I shouldn’t have told you.”
These five words absolutely ruined me. I had always thought that we could tell each other anything. That I could trust her to be honest with me. Now, I can’t stop thinking about what else she might not be telling me. How could I ever trust her again?
