I’ve managed to have all of my hopes raised and dashed in a single sentence. To be told you still love me and then to say only as a friend. I’m so happy you don’t hate me, and I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised that you don’t love me the way I used to anymore. I’ll always love you and should respect your decision, so I’ll just have to learn how to be content with this kind of love.

I knew what my girlfriend and her best friends boyfriend were doing in that room.
I could hear the bed creaking gradually getting faster until it was all out loud and careless. They were not sleeping after the party. I felt powerless to stop them and I didn’t tell her friend what happened out of shame. They both blatantly cheated and they got away with it.
