My wife & I aren’t as close as we used to be. I hate being a middle-aged cliche, but I feel she has put the kids first in our relationship. Our lives are centered around our 3 kids. This weekend we have an actual date, but I know she’ll end up only wanting to discuss the kids, we’ll eat s***** food, drink s***** wine only to go home early & pass out. No romance, no spark, no nothing. She has told me before that she centers around the kids because they will only be in our house for so long. I get that, but we only set time for ourselves about 3-4 times a year. I don’t know how to tell her that I may only be in our house for so long too.
