My boyfriend of 1 year told me earlier that he wasn’t sure if he actually wanted to be in a relationship with me. That we were starting to feel like f*** buddies, not lovers. He said that I’m too busy and barely maintain a relationship. I hang out with friends maybe every other day, when I try to make plans with him he
A. Won’t text back for hours
B. Will make an excuse to not go
or
C. Come along and not even speak to me or try to hold a conversation
And RARELY wants to hang out with me on his own accord unless he’s h****.
I bring this up to him during the argument and he tells me
“You’re never happy are you?”
And I apologised to him, he said he can’t tell if he really wanted to be with me and he thinks the relationship has dragged on longer than he wanted.
I stop talking to him for maybe 30 minutes and he says he’s calmed down and that he was just stressed and didn’t mean any of it.
He’s had episodes like that before, where he seems like a different person but never to that extent. He never mentions our relationship in that manner. He says things he doesn’t remember saying, but they hurt just the same. I don’t know what to do, I love him so very much but it’s just so frustrated.
