About a year ago I did horribly in a writing competition. Writing was my world and I was in the top seven writers in my school. I was picked out of about 600 students to go to a writing competition and compete against around 1,000 other kids. I placed dead last. I will never forget the dread I felt when my name wasn’t called and I got my scores back. I haven’t written anything since then. I’m too scared too but I miss writing so much. I’m just scared that anything I write will sound terrible and I will never be able to do what I love most again.
