My wife and I live in Poland (her country). We plan to move to the UK (my country) in a year or two. We want to adopt a cat and have a child in that order. I think it would be less complicated to have a child and not get a cat. When we move back we will need to go to my Mums house until we find our own place. With a baby it is possible, but not with a cat because my Mum has her own cat and they wouldn’t mix. I pretty much promised my wife we would get a cat though. I don’t want to end up stuck forever in a country where I can’t speak the language. My wife wants to live in the UK again too, so many I shouldn’t disrepair too much. I don’t know, it’s scary being abroad for so long and feeling isolated like this.
