My heart breaks as I read the old letters sent me. You were an amazing person and I hope I showed you enough love and appreciation. You deserved better than me. You were there in the darkest time of my life. The memories will haunt me for a lifetime. Now that you’ve passed that’s one more heart string broken from the past. You were a big part of my life and always have been. I’m so sorry that happened to you, it’s horrific and I can’t help but image you laying there alone wrapped up and left like you were nothing.
