Why do I always fall for older women? I’m 20 near 21 and I know I could never get with any of the ladies I like but its just girls my age don’t seem to have the elegance, the maturity, the beauty of an older woman, so far all my crushes in the last year and a half the youngest was 25 the oldest 37, its just a weird place I’m in, girls my age don’t want me, older women probably don’t, due to age difference,no, I don’t feel like I’m the best looking guy, maybe average (ish) and I don’t think I’m a piece of shit, I try my best for people, being polite, helping out whenever I can, supportive to others and such, I’m not the most confident guy and I just don’t know what I can do, do I just give up, which I’m planning to because I just can’t get anywhere, five years its been since I even kissed a woman, let alone have a relationship or am I doing something wrong? I know to some this sounds like the pathetic whining of a guy who can’t get a date (which it sort of is) but if I didn’t get it off my chest, even to strangers, I’d be depressed the rest of the night and I don’t want that, I’m just lost and any advice on what I could do would be appreciated.

  • I’m a younger girl dealing with the same issue. I’ve found myself only attracted to women in their 40s+, and it’s been hard for me to cope- however, I know that one day, things will work out for me. I’m chubby, small, and because of an illness I have stunting my growth and making puberty hell for me, my skin and body aren’t in the best condition, despite all the other girls my age having clear faces and perfect skin. I totally feel unworthy of the people I fall for, especially since I’m younger (though not that young) and could never even try anything until I’m legal. It’s seriously messed with my self esteem. It’s been quite the rocky journey of self acceptance and learning that this is just who I am. I think, personally, you should take some time to focus on yourself and accepting and loving yourself. Once you take your mind off of other people for a bit and focus on yourself, work, your social life, all that, that’s when you’ll find things will begin to fall into place for you. Trust me. There’s someone out there for you. You’re not alone, and don’t forget that there’s always people out there who understand. I promise you that!

I hope things truly go well for you. 🙂
