I want us to be able to try and get to know each other again more than anything, but it seems like everything is working against us. How?
Do you know how damn hard it to go through life knowing full well I have all kinds of people who are after what I have or had? Probably including you? Because its the best. Gas lighting and making me out to be something I’m not.

I know I changed into a bit of a cynical asshole of the years, but with you I would try to be what I was. Actually it seems like I’m a cynical asshole, but I wouldn’t have to try. As soon as you get me alone you would be going “actually he seems like an asshole but he’s actually the sweetest man I’ve ever known..” Because that whole asshole thing is what comes from people making me out to be what I’m not. I am not and angry bitter asshole. I might have been for a few years, 8 years ago, but I’m over it.
