I’m dating a guy that has dark skin. I wouldn’t say that he’s black, but he’s definitely darker than anyone in my family. He’s part Romanian and something else. I think Italian. Anyway we’ve been dating now for about 4 years. He’s met most of my family but they don’t know we’re dating. Because of his skin color most of my family, my dad specifically, don’t like him. If they ever found out I was dating him they’d be livid. My mom has claimed many times through out my life that she’d have a heart attack if I ever went with a colored man.Recently my boyfriend has been hinting at getting married. I would like that but my family will go absolutely ape s*** over it.
