I caught my mother cheating on her partner, who has stage 4 cancer. And he definitely isn’t any different due to his illness. she wasn’t loyal even before his diagnosis. He comes over, fixes stuff and helps with handiwork. He carried me to the car when I ODed, just generally doing whatever is asked. His wife died from cancer also and his children are… still children. I can’t look him in the eye, I want to scream at him to run, run as fast and far as he can from her. I don’t want to keep other peoples secrets, I don’t want these kinds of secrets to exist period.
