I hate Christmas, and I only participate due to family obligation. I don’t want to give or receive gifts. I hate the fake happiness, the greed and gluttony, the fact it now lasts for two months, the way it takes over all media, and you can’t escape it. I dread the day after Halloween to the second week of January. How has this supposed “religious” holiday gotten so out of hand? The way our society celebrates Christmas completely disgusts me. I think Jesus would be appalled too, although that is not the motivation for this post.
