I was getting a train back to London. It was very busy, there had been a problem with the reservation screens on the train so it didn’t show what seats were reserved. I had reserved seats tho. Usually in a case like tha you seat where you reserved even if it doesn’t show. But like I said it was busy. In my seats were a mum and her 3 kids. I only had 1 around the table (4seats). I was tired and didn’t fancy standing for 4 hours and so asked if I could have my seat and the women was like no does it matter someone is in my seat too so what can I do? And I said you can ask them to move of you reserved a seat. Eventually she gave me my seat and left her kids and walked off somewhere. She came back and had apparently been moved up to first class so left with her kids. I just feel like I was so rude and I feel so guilty about it. Like it was as if it was an adult. It was a mum and her kids. I must have looked like a horrible le person. I never usually ask people to move. I was just tired that day but that’s no excuse is it
