A few years ago I had an intern at work that I treated like s***. I mean absolute s***, and I don’t even know why. I was having a lot of emotional problems at the time, which I’ve since gotten help for, but that’s not really an excuse. I don’t have contact info for this person and can’t apologize directly, but I think about it a lot. I’ve been putting in a lot of work to try to be a better person, and to really put effort into making sure I’m decent to people even when things aren’t going so great in my own life. I hope that in some way makes up for what I did.
