I have been sober for 14.5 years (opioids). I am in a dark place right now and really wanting to crush/numb myself with some Percocet or Vicodin or something….I hurt so damn bad. I feel so much guilt for wanting to use when I have the skills to resist and the skills to cope. But it’s so f****** hard right now.
