Christmas drinking never leads to anything as amazing as it would seem in the moment. I got super drunk with my in-laws and had to walk my wife’s sister in law home (she lives a few blocks away), and when I got her to her door, I leaned in and started kissing her. At first, we were both totally making out, but then she realized I wasn’t her boyfriend, and pushed me away. I told her I loved her, and she hesitated, but turned and unlocked her door. She came back and gave me a soft kiss on the lips and said, “Good night” and then went inside. I’m so fucked.
