Okay, so, I’m a 3rd year medical student and unlike my classmates my homework takes more time from me to do it. I may have ADHD I guess because it’s hard for me to concentrate on my work. Besides it, I have a big family: mom, dad, yonger brother and a 3-year-old sister. Mom and dad are working really hard the whole day and still we have problems with money. I feel guilty for not being able to help them with that. I s*** at time management and I’m sure if I start working at a farmacy office I may fail my classes. But I’m also tired of hearing how bad things are. And sometimes they also need help with my sister, and it happens so that because of my homework I can’t help them with that too. I may take her from kindergarten, play with her sometimes, but when it’s my exams period like it’s now, I just can’t combine both. It’s too hard for me. And I really feel guilty for it.

  • med school is demanding, takes lots of time. that’s where your attention must be right now. No need to feel guilty, exams require extra preparation. No ne has time for anything else. You did not decide to have a sister, it was not your decision and you are not her parent. Sister is not your responsibility. Learning medicine is because if you don’t learn then you could kill patients through mistakes.

  • A third year med student who can’t even spell pharmacy, you’ll make a great docter. Since you’re not working, your parents who are having problems with money must paying for you to flounder in school? You need to quit school and get a full-time job to help your family.

    • Well, sorry I’m not a native speaker, and if you judge someone based on one mistake in a long text, then I’m sorry for you. I’ll be a great doctor, don’t worry. If you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all. Bye.
