Recently I was taken into custody for drunk driving. Nobody was injured in the crash but I feel terrible for making the decision to get behind the wheel and risk the lives of others. I went quite a ways down a pretty busy road so I thank God that I didn’t hurt anybody.

No harm, no foul. You were not drunk driving. The term driving is a “commercial” activity. You must be paid to “drive”. As in Uber, or a taxi or delivering goods or transporting people for money. Check the law dictionaries. Blacks Law Dictionary, Bouvier’s law dictionary.

Your attorney will never tell you the truth. He works for the judge. Hard to believe hu? He’ll let you stand there and say that you were “driving”. You were not.
