I am in a long-term relationship right now but I have been having feelings for this certain guy I met in school for quite some time already. The feeling has gotten deeper day by the day and it’s really confusing me. I love my partner but the thought of this other guy’s making me feel all giddied up and keeping me very inspired although I guess I am just infatuated by his image I built in my mind because everytime I see him in person, I don’t really feel as excited as my imaginations of him.

Sounds like your “love” for your partner is far more platonic than sexual/romantic. Attraction matters. Don’t settle. If a man isn’t someone who sexually excites you, but you date him anyway, you’re basically prostituting yourself for his commitment, and believe me, there WILL be problems in that relationship later!
