Sometimes I look back at the memories with my ex-best friend. I always wonder what would we could have been if I wasn’t so prideful and accepted my feelings for him. I knew he had feelings for me too but I ended up dating his other close friend. When I started dating him I realized I chose the wrong guy and regretted that I didn’t see this sooner. Although we don’t talk as much anymore, sometimes I wonder what we could have been and if we would still be close today if I didn’t shut him out.
