I grow my own weed. I started this about 2 years ago. I grow exclusively autoflowers right now but am wanting to get into doing photo periods. Unlike the rest of the progressive United States Texas is stuck in the dark ages and it is still illegal to grow here. But I do it anyways because the neighbors to my left are illegal immigrants they won’t call the cops and my neighbor to the right smokes weed. I live in a secluded neighborhood back in the woods in the country. The cops in my town are too worried about meth to worry about somebody growing weed. So it got to where I was spending $280 a week on an ounce of dro and I got tired of it. I did months and months of research and started my first grow. I decided to go with autoflowers because it takes anywhere from 90 to 120 days from seed to harvest. That means I can plant my seed and as long as I cultivated and treat my baby right in 90 to 120 days I have anywhere from 2 to 4 oz of weed per plant. Now I smoke as much as I want everyday for practically nothing. It cost me $140 to get started. All you need to do to get started is go on Amazon and get two large bags of Happy frog growing medium that’s going to run you about $70. And you can go to 420 fast buds to order the beans I got five seeds for $56. I got all the Fox farm nutrients for free on a little return scam I pull on Amazon from time to time. So I literally spent less than $150 and was ready to grow my own weed. My first four plants were sour lowrider number two and I got just shy of half a pound from 4 plants. I plant them in 5 gallon buckets. 5 gallons is all you need for an autoflower because they are such small plants they don’t have the large root structure that the photos have. All in all I have to say that I am much happier growing my own then I ever was buying it. I sell a little bit of it here and there but for the most part I smoke. I can smoke for 6 months off of one grow. Put it this way I harvested that half pound over a year ago and I’m just now having to start another grow. If you smoke weed definitely look into doing the research and growing your own. I would love to get my license and cultivate marijuana for dispensaries. But Texas is light years behind that happening. My biological father lives in New Mexico and it is completely legal there recreational and medicinal but I don’t want to move all the way from East Texas to New Mexico and leave all my family. I wish they would just federally legalize it
