I have always been within my community. I never really been outside of it much, never went to the city. I’ve always lived in the suburbs, moved in it, I was too connected to it.
I got a part-time job in the City, but honestly not the best experience until now.
The city kids are wild, they got everything in the palms of their hands honestly. They live these lavish lifestyles, get to do so many activities. It is then when I realised that the leaders of tomorrow with the most experiences to list on the resumes were these kids, not the kids that I grew up with or knew.
It was truly the first time I see the world outside of the bubble I live in which was even more depressing because I realised how the kids of my area will never experience these except if they come here which is even very expensive for them.
I hope to be able to give them once the ability to experience a life full of music, trips, and all a kid should encounter and learn.
