Luna, whether we imagine her as a cat or a pony, is the personification of Neopaganism. Since Wicca is the most widespread pagan religion (and contains elements of magic), Luna is a symbol of that faith.
The white dove Michael, on the other hand, is the personification of Christianity; more precisely the Roman Catholic version of it.
The eerie goddess Kali is a symbol of Hinduism, the predominant religion in India.
