Somewhere in the distance, I could see a person that seemed familiar to me. I shivered; it was Edward. Through golden yellow fields and green meadows, he was approaching me. I clung to the tree. Soon he noticed me and smiled slightly. His hair swayed in the summer breeze. Yes, it was him – my childhood friend and a neighbor. Despite the opposition of our families, we’re together again. Only, how is that possible? As Edward explained to me, this turned out to be the “other world”. Afterlife. So we were no longer among the living. For a moment I was gripped by despair, but it was clear to me that it could not be otherwise. Our loved ones will always remember us. I hugged my lover and ran my fingers through his long, lush blond hair. Then we kissed passionately. We can finally be together, away from each other. Far from everyone else.
