To properly charge my EV at home I have to install a new 20-240V 40-50 amp line from the pole for which an electrician plus the utility company will charge an environmentally friendly $7,000 to $8000 depending on the labor.

So I bought a home generator. I got an electrician to install the generator and interlock for only $300. Yes I charge the car from the generator. I burn fossil fuel to charge my electric vehicle. But the utility company does the same thing.

All the ‘Go Green’ crowd think I am wonderful for driving an EV!
