Why do you wish to be popular or known? You are loved by God and known by him. To be popular among men who have fickle hearts is nothing and to be known by men who turn upon you is unwise.
Popularity with men is passing and to be known by them is dangerous. The accomplished do not seek fame but proceed quietly confident in themselves, not needing the praise of foolish men.
