if i were to discover that my friend exhibits supernatural properties such as immortality or telekinesis, my opinion of them would change INSTANTLY. id fail to see them as a being with feelings and thoughts. they arent my friend now. just a specimen to experiment on and examine. just an enigmatic puzzle to solve. i know that makes me a bad person but frankly i do not give a s***. my interest in solving things outweighs my affection for my friend by a wiidddeeee margin. but first id ask them a multitude of questions first, and try to hide the fact that all i care about now is getting to the bottom of this fresh, new mystery. if i can, id contact like-minded individuals to come and brainstorm ideas on how to proceed with the first experiment, where to get funding, just boring s*** like that. i dont want to bore you with such a long info dump, but id do my best to NOT cut them up, starting with MRI scans, blood tests, xrays, anything that differs them from us humans. after ive done EVERYTHING like examine their diet, home, and family, id do the biopsy next. aaaand, id be careful if they were dangerous, in the sense that they could use their powers to kill me or my team if we step over a line. sooooooo, yeah. theres more but that would last like an hour or two. but thats the gist of it. why do you ask? dont you think it would be disadvantageous if you ask me such a specific question?
