What would you do then? “File a complaint” at a corrupt police station? or “File a complaint” with the corrupt mayor? Oh, wait no… you three are the people that go through court, try to sue the cop, the courts and internal affairs find the officer did nothing wrong (of course, because you know corruption is not real anywhere) and then just accept the next big government d*** in your a** just as quietly as you did the first right? As a former cop and a white person who lives in the south, I’ll tell you that black people are often treated differently. It’s obvious. Those who cannot see it aren’t privy to the differences in effect between the races. If you think there isn’t a difference, you are part of the problem.

I’m old enough (late 30s) to realize now that nothing is going to change. Blacks will always be mostly poor, mostly anti-authority, and mostly blaming their problems on racism. Whites will always be mostly upwardly-mobile, mostly willing to work with the system, and mostly tired of blacks’ complaining about racism. You can either spend your life in denial of these facts, trying to fight an unchangeable system and ending up broke and full of regret, or you can accept these truths, work with them as they are, and end up happy. Unless, of course, a lifetime of wasted struggle and zero results makes you happy for some reason.
