I know a girl who has had a rough couple of years. I mean, really rough. somehow she’s still involved in nearly every school club and keeps her grades above 80%. She thinks that anyone who a)didn’t have as many ‘hurdles’ in her life or b)lives in a first-world country doesn’t have a right to complain about how sucky their life is. Maybe she is right…but I don’t think it’s fair for her to put herself on this pedestal of holier-than-thou because she went through hell and everyone else didn’t. Yeah I get that it was hard but it doesn’t give her the right to be a b****.
