I’m a 30 woman and I have a reoccurring nightmare. I was repeatedly molested as a child (from the age of 5 to the age of 10) by the same man. My babysitter’s son. I never reported it or told anyone. The nightmare started 6 years ago… when I found out that he has 2 young daughters. In the nightmare I am a child again in body, but not in size. I am naked, but he is not molesting me. Instead, he is gripping my shoulders. His nails are long and curved like talons, piercing my skin, but I’m not bleeding, don’t feel the pain. He is shaking me, laughing hysterically. His eyes are black. His teeth are long, sharp. “I HAVE DAUGHTERS! I HAVE DAUGHTERS!” I never really liked sleeping because of him, but since this started, I feel like I’m falling apart. And no one’s noticed. They never ask if anything is bothering me, they just tell me I look tired and to turn off the computer and get some sleep and I’ll feel better. But sleep just makes everything worse.
