I hate my job, but I know I have talent. There is a lot of things about my field that I absolutely despise doing. My brain is very abstract and my skills are extremely kinetic. All I want to do is what I am truly skilled at, and leave the other crap to the specialists of those tasks. Everyday lately I have this acidic feeling coursing through my veins, because the universe is telling me what I am doing is not right for me. I am largely misunderstood, live in a conservative, republican, close-minded region, and for that reason it is hard to find employment. My skills are very specialized. I am an artist, and a genius in a very specific way. When is it going to be my turn to use my natural talents in a way that benefits my life, and then in turn those around me? Life is meant to be enjoyed, and I am willing to work very hard for that. But in the meantime, I am spinning my wheels doing things that do not come natural to me, and because of that, they bring me suffering. When I suffer, my family suffers. I want to be happy so that I can bring happiness to others. It is my deepest wish that I can find a way to be successful in my niche. I wasn’t born rich, so have to start from nothing. But I am an alchemist, and I can create beauty out of paint and thin air. I believe it is my time to offer my true talents to the universe, with reckless but focused abandon. There is no more room in my life for meaningless triviality. I will be successful in my specific niche or f****** die trying. There is no more room for anything other than blatant, non-apologetic authenticity. And f*** anyone that doesn’t agree.
