I’m afraid that maybe the world really is coming to an end. But no one is really sure, so we just go on with our day-to-day grind and wait to see if it happens. I’m 30 year old adult, but I can’t shake this feeling of impending doom.

New Confession

I was painfully shy with duper low self esteem when I was younger. Parents can really screw you up. Anyway, in Jr us I had a HARD crush on a lovely and very pretty girl. I talked with her and she was nice to me but I never told her how much I cared for her or how beautiful she was. This was 51 years ago. I found her on FB and sent her a message, telling her how beautiful and sweet I thought she was. She was touched and we chatted. She said I had made her day. I’m glad I gave her a smile and that I was honest with her about feelings I was too afraid to share years ago, I just wanted her to know that someone thought she was sweet and gorgeous. She said she was glad I reached out but also sad that I couldn’t share my feelings at the time. I’m glad I did it, for her and myself.
