My mom can be so annoying some times. It’s like she’s always defeated or something. Because of various health problems she’s in a nursing home in another town. I don’t drive, so I get a ride with my aunt to see her.
Anyway. my mom is old school. She has a discman. Yep, a portable cd player with headphones. (You’ve probably never used one.) She wanted me to buy those “flips” headphones that flip into speakers for her birthday. First I couldn’t find them and then I saw they were over $100. I recently lost my job so I kinda need to save money. I ended up buying her one of those little iHome external speaker things. (Not the bluetooth one.)
This is where my mom gets annoying, like she’s defeated. I told her about the iHome external speaker, how it plugs into her cd player headphone jack. The other part of the cord plugs into a USB, but I got her an adapter to plug into the wall. First she said “So you didn’t get me a speaker??” then she said “you didn’t get me the adapter?” It’s like she doesn’t understand what I’m saying. She’s also defeated, like she thinks I would never buy her anything for her birthday.
