pet peeve: people who complain constantly about needing a job, being broke, being poor, struggling to survive… and then refuse to take a job that’s basically laid at their feet, because they ‘don’t want that kind of job’.

Um hello. If you’re really struggling to survive, then you can freaking flip burgers or take phone calls until you find something better. Any paycheck is better than no paycheck. Honestly I think you enjoy being broke because you think you get more attention that way!
