I have an aunt (by marriage) who I love, but who is as dumb as a doornail. She has good intentions but she makes horrible, horrible, stupid decisions.

Her nephew, who is addicted to drugs, has been in and out of jail. He had cancer, which is sad, but he beat it and he’s cancer free and doing fine. Still addicted to drugs, and steals from the rest of the family. has pawned off countless items belonging to his mother and his grandparents. My aunt knows all this, but whenever he asks her for money…? She gives it to him. He feeds her lies about why he needs it, and she believes him.

not only that. She took him to the dr. to get pain killers, which he is addicted to. She knows, but she is totally enabling the little jerk!

I’m done trying to talk sense into her.
