art inspirations
i love to look at paintings and write a story about it. i went to an art gallery and wrote poetry.
i was sitting outside my doctors room and came up with a story about the painting on her wall and then went home and wrote a brief draft out. i love painting so much … I think my doctor is pretty and to be honest i feel jealous of her career and youth but i think i would rather work in an art gallery and Egyptian museum with mummies and artifacts then be her as a medical doctor.
i went to a Monet, Matisse and Renoir exhibition and it was the best i wrote poetry and prose to paintings and loved it so much.
i went to a portrait of spain exhibition from the prado… it was great then i see a Fox and Carrick exhibition that was very much a mix of impressionism and modernism.
but i want to see a Toulouse latrec exhibition and a jean Georges vibert exhibition with all the catholic cardinal paintings … I want to see a van gough exhibition and heaps more like Constable and Degas etc…
i did art at high school in 1985-86 and had to assignments on australian and english art history and i can not even remember any of it now other then the sky blue colors were often odd matched with english artist trying to do australian sky scenes… that is said to say.
in my humanities degree we had to pull apart art pieces and describe them in semiotic meanings- Pictorial semiotics is that in culture and psychology, (its an art jigsaw like pulling it apart academically as a film critic might for film) which is connected to art history and theory.
I want to see more art nouvevo and deco paintings and design in galleries… more abstract and cubism and the classics like Rembrandt and Flemish painters and the Rubians nudes etc i think i seen Pissarro…
artists that defined the little ice age would be a great art exhibition with a reflection of drought place paintings as well to co-inside with climate change issues…and awareness at the qld art gallery… i love a lot of old tall boats in bays in england and holland and australia as part of the colonial and explorations and the botany works arts drew like Banks… they would be great exhibitions…

i seen a love and death victorian paintings with Pre-Raphaelites like waterhouse, Millais and i want to see a Mannerism exhibition… with more the classics like Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, and early Michelangelo…
and heaps more. i just love art galleries and want to go there with a friend or boyfriend/husband for a date.
i usually go with my mum… its like the ice-skating … my mum took me to see Torvil and Dean… i wish there was more of that sort of performance in brisbane like a dr.acula ice musical … or something… disney on ice is great but would like some other stuff.
