I had many crushes since I was in primary school. The 1st crush I had was my childhood friend who was pretty and unique. I always dream about being her groom while I stared at her parents’wedding picture on the wall. But we talked less , and probably nothing I had ever talk with her in a minute about ourselves but doing homework .
The second crush is my English teacher who was pretty and short too. But she was harsh and demand us so much which one of my scary dreams was about her smoking a cigarette in the kitchen and cursed me about the homework while she was pregnant. However I showed her my passions like making a paper cut of a shark like figure and whispered to her that it was yours in the art lesson. And smiling and reading aloud my text book in the corridor near the teachers’office while actually I was being punished by her of not finish my homework. Whenever I saw her class coming up next, I was overjoyed yet worried about my incomplete assignments.
While having free time in my boring high school life, I visited my primary school with my sister who graduated a few years ago. My teacher saw me and smiled yet indicated that I was rude of not saying “Miss” but “hi” to her. Well, I was about to say “Miss’ but she never gave me the chance. Anyway , a crush is a short term affection but sweet and harmless. Soon I didn’t have this feeling for her after three years . Yet at the second time visiting her, she denounced to both of us yet looking straight at me and said ” I have a son now.” I said “okay, that’s great.” But something deep down in my mind didn’t feel right, which proved me right again during the third time visit at school where she completely ignored me. Maybe she knew my feeling but it was gone after my graduation in my primary school.
In high school, I grew rapidly passionate about a pretty girl who likes cursing and making a scar on boys’arms by her sharpen finger nails. The first time we met in the Math class where we grouped together was to figure out the formula of a triangle. I always had a headache about Math, however she didn’t have this problem and she was just so cool about it. She gave me an impression of girls who are not easy to get along . As time goes, we were like normal classmates doing what we should do and we never really had a friendship or a real conversation between us. However once she helped me to tie a tie when I was about to give up making a nice one. I don’t know why I feel awkward about her helping me about this. Maybe I was thinking too much. So during a rainy annual sport day in school, we sat next to each other, and she leaned on me while I was holding an umbrella. One of my classmates in other class says that we are like a married couple. But we cared less cause it wasn’t true. And then after having lunch, we walked together with her friends and when we were about to walk down the elevator , I didn’t know why the distance between us grew smaller, and at the time we , both of us were holding hands together. It was like a moment of sparkle, a thunder and I saw her smiling brightly at me. But then I decided to not hold her hand because I think it wasn’t right. This was so awkward when I tried not to touch her hand. And she looked away from me. And then I put a smile on my face and pretended that anything went normal again when I talked with her while she always wants to end the conversation with me.
Finally, my last crush was one of my classmates in my English class in high school. She liked to tease me and often says that “you are so dry.” The meaning of “dry” in her own interpretations was not having a boyfriend. I was like, so what? And then once she acted so weird when her hand touched mine. She was so frightened and we looked at each other in silence. I was sure that my hand was clean. Anyway she didn’t speak to me again. I had to admit that, having these crushes were harmless and I could completely forget them in any second. I miss these crushes very much.
