It’s best to let things that have been toxic and problematic go. There’s no point hanging on to these traits and hanging on to them longer will make things worse in the end. If a stepparent screwed you out of money owed to you, forget it. It’s not coming to you and it’s best to leave it with nothing. If a sibling chewed you out, forgive and forget. Move forward from it. You had it coming all along and you truly deserved it. If you’re not in good terms with that sibling, then don’t bother dwelling on it. Just move on and go forward with life. It’s the best you can do for yourself at this time.
