I’ve always kept a respectful distance from animals in the countryside, even so far as as running away from some stoat. On holiday recently a donkey approached me, I ended up petting it’s nose and feeding it hay then the b****** bit me. It’s like a vice with teeth.

My arms black with bruises and I’m in pain, right through muscle to the bone. Word of warning kiddies and adults. If the animal isn’t in pain has a clean coat and nice even hooves then DO NOT! approach it.

Obviously if it’s in distress or abused in any way then inform the authorities but I hate all equines even Zebras. I know I’m a townie but the last animal I expect to bite me is a well cared for donkey especially when I’m being nice to the fucker.
