Two weeks ago a guy I went to high school with (class of 98) shot and killed a cop in my hometown. This guy was then himself shot and killed by other officers. He, like half of my graduating class, was black.
The handful of people I still keep in touch with – all white, all with successful careers, and mostly moved away from that small town – started talking about the incident on facebook. Some of them still live in my hometown, and they would share the links to news stories about the incident. Then, out of curiosity, we started doing some research. We made a list of every single black student we graduated with – 160 altogether – and googled them.
The results fit the stereotype. From what we can find so far, two dozen of them are in jail. Another few dozen of them have mugshots online but are not actually in jail. Some of them have low-skill, low-wage jobs, but most of them don’t work. All of them that we were able to find have three or more children – children that are now in their teens, which means they had those children right out of high school.
Not a single one of them that we were able to track down finished college. The most successful one we could find – just one woman – was a wedding planner.
Can we please, please just admit that forced multiculturalism is a failure and move on with our lives?
