STP, All In The Suit That You Wear is a pretty good tune. It’s awesome actually. I think that song was released on Thank You (Greatest Hits) which would be 2001 or 02, which is 4,5 years from their last album, No. 4 which is one of my personal fav STP albums, Core is up there, that’s a great first album. I remember listening to No. 4 on a cassette in my walkman, the way Sony Walkman I ever bought, not long before (crazy I was still buying Cassette Tape Technology in 07, 08. I bought that and Filter, Title Of Record as the last 2 Cassette tapes I ever bought, and still have, the Filter Cassette Tape sleeve has the COMPACT DISC DIGITAL AUDIO logo on it.

But what I was getting at is All In The Suit That You Wear has the No. 4 Vibe. You can clearly hear the evolution of STP from Core to all the rest of their albums. To me, they always put out a cool vibe sonically, I appreciated it I don’t know if any of my buds did, they probably didn’t, that would have been weak to them, but to me, the music, melodically, sonically would be something I listened to thinking about a past they don’t know about. Couple of girls I left behind or something. But it was good s*** to teach me some guitar too. The album Purple was kind of mind blowing to me when it released. Lounge Fly, it was like holy f***… Listen to the drums even. The tone. The crack of the snare drum. Eric Kretz
