The ex had my abortion and a stillbirth that was a surprise pregnancy. Supposedly I saved her life by calling 911. The truth is that staying calm and calling in trained help was the only way that I could retreat and not deal with the horror. To this day I still get PTSD with loud footsteps on staircases and loud door knockings. No detective likes to believe that nobody had any idea about that sort of thing.
