My lazy dad makes me do most of the chores.

Ive never lived with my mom and my dad has done everything he could to not work a job. He was always unemployeed and just scraping by on his dead parents money and government founds. When it came to me, he would do the bare minimum required and complain about it. Every day he would pick me up hours after everyone else because he ‘didnt want to deal with traffic’.

We ran out of money and had to move in with my deranged aunt and uncle. They eventually got sick of us and made us live in a mouldy RV on the edge of their property.

Once I was old enough to work I began taking as many hours as I could to try and prepare for moving out. I was working 40+ hours a week. In the meantime, my dad was working not even 10 hours a week. Hes not in great physical condition but his job isnt very demanding either. If it was, he could switch to something easier but he doesnt.

I get home from work exhausted most days. He only points out how messy the house is (Mostly his doing, I go out of my way to get my trash up so he cant claim any of it is mine) and how the cats dont have any food or water despite me having been gone for 8-9 hours and unable to check on them. He refuses to take care of them and work for 5 minutes.

When he does on the rare occasion clean, he always has to bring me into it.

He keeps asking me why Im not applying for college yet every five minutes. I keep telling him that Im trying to get enough money to leave first and he gets angry at my answer.

Hes always critisizing me. I dont know if hes ever been proud of me. Im sick of it and just want out but inflation is making it harder than ever. My aunt and uncle throwing out death and suicide threats on top of their drug abuse isnt helping either. Its all too much and Im scared that I wont be able to leave before I become like them. Physically Im sore from working so hard but mentally is even worse. Im so tired

New Confession

Sister Marie Howorth had no right to ask me private questions about father’s death. The Toronto Catholic District School Board has verified this with me. To quote the TCDSB, “If you did not disclose to her that your father died, she should not have asked.” The TCDSB also verified that Sister Marie Howorth should not have asked me ‘prodding’ questions. Especially when she saw I was in distress. At that point, she should have stopped. As for the comment, “You wear a mask”, this was a very harmful comment to say to a student. In today’s climate, making a comment like that to a student would never fly. I feel emotionally abused by Sister Marie Howorth. I’m sick of people glorifying her and talking about how compassionate she was. I simply did not see that side of her. When I asked what the meeting was about that day, Sister Marie Howorth replied, “Oh Just Something.” This answer was an outright lie. Sister Marie asking me to reveal private details about my father’s death was not “just something.” I still feel very violated by the way Sister Marie Howorth treated me. She invaded my privacy and my grief. (Actually I don’t really grieve my father because he called my mother an ugly warthog infront of me when I was 6) I hope God did not let her into Heaven Scott Free! Sister Marie Howorth ruined my last year of high school with her psychological abuse.

F*** You Sister Marie Howorth
F*** You Judy Wright
F*** You Yvonne Kocik
F*** You Former Deputy Director of the MSSB who thought he had a right to force a grief counselling on me when he could have just made a complaint against me to stop. I would never have contacted him in the first f*****’ place! Besides, unlike his late son, I would never steal VCRs from the Honeydale Walmart!!!
